Large crowd at Asparagus Festival

Living way up on Long Hill, I don't get downtown as often as when the kids were young and not scattered to the four winds, well three.  The Asparagus Festival is a good reason to go and catch up.  Lots of folks from town were there, but they were a minority as the rest of humanity descended on the common.  Or so it appeared.

It was colorful to say the least.  It would have been so if Stacia Caplanson and her Rainbow Kids Tie Dye had been the only tent.

The lines for food were long.  I was hoping to get some of the Salem Cross' asparagus soup, but the line never receded.  Pig Park Barbecue could not keep up.  Five Loaves sold out.  Fortunately, the Congregational Church line was not so bad, and I was able to get some of there wonderful pie.

The 60s will never die while Stacia lives

Amy Dugas & Co. did a great job as usual.
